KMYSA Format Changes 2009 Age Groups 

In previous years KMYSA has created teams by grade level in school, since the US Youth Soccer guidelines are designated by a ‘U’ then an age, example U6, U8. KMYSA is going to adopt this format.  We will have 4 age levels U6, U8, U10, and U12. 

This change does not affect 3^rd through 6^th graders because 3^rd and 4^th grade have been combined and 5^th and 6^th grade have been combined for the last 2 years.  This will affect PK to 2^nd because now PK and K will be combined and 1^st and 2^nd grades will be combined.

PK and K will be U6

1^st  and 2^nd will be U8

3^rd and 4^th will be U10

5^th and 6^th will be U12.
